Myofascial Manual Therapy Strategies Using Mechanical Percussion Devices: An Evidence-Based Approach to Improving Mobility, Strength and Recovery

COURSE CONTENT: Myofascial compression interventions have become a popular treatment among rehabilitation professionals. This course will focus on the evidence and application of manual therapy using Mechanical Percussion Devices (MPD). The latest research evidence, clinical standards, and treatment strategies will be discussed for these popular interventions along with video demonstrations of various methods that have been shown to be effective to deactivate soft tissue restrictions. Further evidence and examples of protocols to use Percussion Devices in the use of range of motion, strength, and recovery will also be explored.
