Spending a Day with Master Clinicians-the Richard Erhard Memorial Symposium

The California Orthopedic Manual Therapy Special Interest Group (COMPTSIG) is pleased to offer another post-conference course based on our well-received series showcasing how experienced clinicians manage patient cases involving pain and neuromusculoskeletal dysfunction of the spine and extremities. Our post-conference program is dedicated to the memory of the late Dr. Richard Erhard,

PT DC, who dedicated his career to the advancement of orthopedic manual therapy clinical practice, education, and research.  

We have an outstanding group of speakers are Marian Brame, MA, PT, RCMT, Aimie Kachingwe, PT, DPT, EdD, OCS, FAAOMPT, and Monty Merrill, PT, MS, OCS, FAAOMPT.  They will share their clinical reasoning based on experience and best evidence in prioritizing the elements of the examination process, developing a clinical physical therapy diagnosis and prognosis, choosing appropriate interventions, and assessing treatment outcome.  This year’s cases will focus on TMD, Sports, and Upper Quarter dysfunctions. The program will include presentation of three cases with ample time for discussion between the presenters and the audience, and may include demonstration and practice of techniques.  CEUs based on 5.75 contact hours is pending approval.
